Once upon a time I decided I wanted boxwood wreaths…
And then reality and a HUGE price tag set in and I realized that this was not going to become a reality…
Until I found a perfectly wonderful and delightful faux boxwood sprig at Michaels!!!
My life was changed forever my friend! The possibilities opened up… the skies opened up and I swear angels sang Hallelujah…
Or maybe not.. but I sand “Hallelujah” and went to work making the most used and versatile wreaths known to man…
All for the low price of $10 for TWO!!!!
These wreaths are easy…
And cheap…
And best of all…
They take about 10 minutes to make!
You will need:
~two mini grapevine wreaths (I got a two pack at Hobby Lobby for $1.99)
~3 greenery sprigs (I got mine at Michaels because I didn’t like the look of Hobby Lobby’s)
~wire cutters
The sprigs I bought had three longer stems coming off the main stem which I cut in half so they were small enough for the small wreaths I had.
1.Simply cut…
2. And stick into the grapevine wreath!
As long as you are using these inside like I am… You won’t even need to glue these in! They will hold VERY well.
Viola!
Two mini wreaths to hang on my built in… And for less than HALF the price of the ones I have been eyeing for years in stores!
(Yes, when I say years… I mean YEARS! I just could never bring myself to spend $12-$18 on one single tiny wreath!)
There you have it!
If you buy your greenery when it is on sale, like I did, these will cost you about $10 for the two!!
I can stomach that cost for some added green in my decor!
Because a farmhouse can always use a little green:-)
P.S. Have I mentioned I have a Wreath Obsession?!?!?! If you haven’t read about it…. Read about it here!!
