Just the title alone “Easy Homemade Diaper Wipes” makes me immediately feel like a hippie… and makes me think everyone in the world must think I am a hippie too!
Not that there is anything wrong with hippies… oh man… I feel like I am digging a hole here… so moving on!
These wipes are EASY to make, good for baby’s bum, and SOOO CHEAP!
All of these big winners add up to a WONDERFUL product I think you will thank me for sharing with you;-)
Homemade Diaper Wipes
~Viva Paper Towels (I have not found one that works better or is more gentle… and they are the cheaper ones! WIN!)
~1 c. Water
~1 Tbsp. Olive Oil or coconut oil
~1 Tbsp. baby wash
~Essential oils (I use 8-12 drops of eucalyptus, 8-10 drops of lavender, and 5-8 drops of tea tree but use what you love)
~Clip lid container to hold wipes
Process:
- Cut the roll of paper towels in half. Put one half into the storage container.
- Boil water.
- Take off heat and add baby wash, oil, and essential oil. Whisk until blended.
- Pour over paper towel inside storage container.
- Cover and use to wipe baby butts;-)
It really is that simple right???!!! Seriously! I make these once every couple months and ya know what the best part about these are?!?!?!? Viva had pre-perforated half sheets so you use so little to wipe a wet baby butt so they last FOREVER!
A couple of my babies have had super sensitive skin that seemed to break out in a rash within 2 minutes of making a mess in their diapers! It was soooo frustrating until I learned to make my own wipes! They don’t take a lot of time and last quite a while;-)
Now you can thank me;-) I know you want to…. because these are the best… smell the best… clean the best… and are safe for baby butts…
and faces….
and hands…
and feet…
Well, basically they are just GOOD and AWESOME!
Enjoy!
