The only marinade you will ever need is SIMPLE!!!! It goes with everything, and tastes AMAZING!
Have I convinced you yet?!?!?!? Ok, maybe it might take a little more work than that;-)
How about telling you there are zero preservatives, it isn’t full of sugar, it is 3-4 ingredients that you have around your home, AND it tastes amazing (have I said that already?!?!)
I use this marinade on chicken and beef, especially steak. It is good when cooking meat on the stovetop or in the oven…
But my favorite is throwing a load of this marinaded meat on the grill once a week and having meals FOR THE WHOLE WEEK!
I made up this recipe while in the process of losing 80 pounds in 4 months a couple years back… and I haven’t bought a marinade from the store since!
So are you ready for my recipe?!?!?!
I PROMISE it will change your life;-)
- ¼ c. Bragg's amino acids
- ½ c. water
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- garlic, fresh or granulated
- 3 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)
- Mix all ingredients together. You do not need the apple cider vinegar unless you will only be marinading a short time, around 20 minutes.
- Put meat into a 9x13 pan (I usually do about 4-6 chicken breasts or a couple steaks, depending on size)
- Pour marinade over the meat.
- Put in the fridge and marinate til your heart's content.
Now, I am telling you right now you won’t be disappointed! I have been using this recipe EXCLUSIVELY for over 3 years now and LOVE it still today!
Once you have that grill-load of meat done, make a big lettuce salad with Craisins, pecans, and chicken with Feta cheese, slice it onto cold meat sandwiches for a quick lunch, make Taco Tuesday (shred and add some homemade Taco Seasoning) a thing.
